Hassan Rateb, chairman of the board of Sinai Investors Association, explained the necessity of granting Sinai more investment incentives, in addition to solving the problems hinder the industrial development in it.

In statements to Amwal Al Ghad, Hassan Rateb said it is necessary to operate all projects in Sinai and to complete the last 10%. He submitted all the proposals of investment in Sinai to the new minister of industry and foreign trade to study them.

Sinai is a real opportunity for development, it has several features and it could be a special city like Shenzhen and Shanghai in China. Sinai is 61 square kilometers in area, like the surrounding countries; Lebanon and Palestine, and bigger than Singapore.
